Probationary giant Matt Denley won over Captain DePriest's graces today. All of the "A" shift firefighters in Rainier recognize Matt's abilities, quick-wit and great personality. Matt has proven himself as a dedicated rookie in our proud profession.
I feel sorry for his height problem, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
